My friend Joe often serves Mass at St. Therese, one of my favorite churches. I usually see him on Sundays at the TLM, but here he stars in a training video for altar servers of the ordinary form Mass. My favorite part is at 1:45 where he walks right by Fr. Robert with his head down. :)

Is that bearded guy actually a priest? Cause he looks way too young for that.
Fr. Robert was ordained in June 2008 and is just as old as I am, making me question what I've done with my life... Actually I've mentioned him on this blog before, here.

Oh, I figured they wanted you to show the audience how white sneakers look with a cassock-- it was an effective demonstration. :)
I wonder if Joe wore purple shoes in Advent?
...And shiny gold shoes for solemnities, and he saves the black shoes for funerals like a good traditional Catholic should. ;)
