But it was entirely an accident; I think the dishtowel was not intended for use as a hot pad and couldn't withstand the super-hot electric heating element in the oven. I used the towel to take the lava cakes out of the oven, and then smelled something burning and wondered what was wrong. The husband of the household wandered by and gasped as he noticed that the towel-- which I was still holding-- was on fire! I quickly dumped it in the sink.
I'm sorry but I'm laughing. Speaking of chocolate, I just got a box of Godiva chocolate from my mom - truffles, bars, 'biscuits', super-dark 85% cocoa squares, so good!!!! :D~
