Dinner at elBulli

An old college friend of mine has this step-by-step illustrated account of his dinner at elBulli, a famous restaurant in Spain. It's worth reading if you have twenty minutes to waste; every course is something you've never seen before.

Do you think we'll eat in Heaven? In today's Gospel (EasterFriday)the Resurrected Jesus served fish. A couple days ago in Luke 24 He asked them, "Have you anything here to eat? They gave Him a piece of baked fish; He took it and ate it in front of them." He compared Heaven to a wedding feast. What do you think?

Definitely! Not only is it the wedding FEAST of the Lamb, but the trees that grow by the river bear fruit every month. Of course the essential happiness of Heaven is supposed to be the beatific vision and all the rest is incidental happiness... and come to think of it I wonder if all the food is just imagery to convey something even better... but we'll have our real corporeal bodies in Heaven so we might have real food too!

But if Heaven is a timeless eternity how do you even manage a sequence of events like picking fruit, taking a bite, chewing, and swallowing?

Now I don't know...
