Rachel - cool! I've been hooked since *ahem* 1980 - the "Original" series...so I'm kinda dating myself here. Fun escapism - the only thing I don't like about the "new" series are some minor thematic stuff that could have been left out, and the story wouldn't have suffered. Being an adult, I can overlook it. For my sons, I have some 'splaining to do.
Thanks Cellarer, I plan to do that. :) LarryD, I also think there are things in the series that should've been left out... one pet peeve is how often they take sacred symbols and make them sinister, at least in the few episodes and clips I've seen. Still, some great episodes!
