What is that mousepad suggesting to Protestant eyes? <BR/>It's funny to Catholics because it shows St. Anthony of Padua, who's always depicted in Franciscan habit and holding the child Jesus. Baby Jesus has nothing to do with it except that that's how St. Anthony is always shown; that's how you know it's St. Anthony. He was born in 1195 and was a powerful preacher and holy man, but Catholics chiefly ask his intercession today when they need help finding lost things.
