Let's have this at the L.A. Cathedral! (I'm hoping the adverse interaction of a traditional liturgy with the cathedral itself might create a spontaneous combustion that'd burn the building down.)
Yes, in such a frightening-looking tabernacle that it seems like an insult to Him! I've visited it and can honestly say it looks worse in person than in the pictures. :P
I think they must have been running out of money when they were building the Cathedral and "Cardinal Hollywood" was able to get a great deal on the "probe" from Star Trek IV for the tabernacle.
AMEN to that! I haven't seen the place in person, but the pictures are enough! I guess there is one good thing about that place, Jesus is there!

ReplyDeleteI state honestly and with no exaggeration that the probe from Star Trek IV would have looked less sacrilegious than the tabernacle we've got.
